In addition to the Childcare Program at our Pomeroy Street location, the Cortland Child Development Centers also runs the School-Age Program at F.S. Barry Primary School, which includes before and after school care as well as a full day program on many of the days when there is no public school. We also run a nine week summer camp, held each year at Barry Elementary.
At the before and after school program, children are offered the opportunity to complete their homework under friendly supervision, choose from board games, play with manipulatives, participate in crafts and enjoy both indoor and outdoor recreational activities. Respecting the rights of others, promoting diversity and problem solving skills are stressed.
