A busy day means a healthy appetite! Our homemade, family-style breakfasts and lunches are popular with the children. Energy-filled snacks in the afternoon will tide your youngsters over until their evening meal.
Our cook carefully prepares all meals in hygienic surroundings with monitoring by the local Department of Health. In accordance with guidelines established by the Child and Adult Care Food Program (CACFP), menus are developed with essential nutrition and obesity prevention in mind. 1% milk is served to children over two years of age. Fresh fruit, whole wheat products, and a minimum amount of processed foods are also incorporated into the design of our menus.
With your doctor’s permission, you may bring food from home to assist with your child’s dietary needs.
Our school-aged children are frequently hungry due to the energy they expend at our program. They receive meals after school and at appropriate times during full days of programming. There is no additional charge for any meal service.
